By coalition
of throat
and tongue
at first
cacophony
of vibration,

proper
accent,
intonation,
diction,

Speech
was born
and wanted
more.

Sound expressed
approximately
the intended
(more or less)
but eventually
discovered
it could
evoke,
even provoke.

Perfecting
manipulation,
marvelling at

forming lines,
